At MC2 (M – C – Squared) our goal is to create captivating steel elements that enhance both the function and appearance of residential & commercial landscapes. Improving the look and utility of landscaping, yours and ours, is why we focus exclusively on landscaping steel elements. In fact, we are the only steel fabrication shop in South Central Montana that works exclusively on landscaping steel. If we have a singular skill that sets us apart from most metal fabrication shops, it is our mastery of digital design. Owner Kelly Murphy started using graphic design software in the mid 80’s and has remained current with improved software and techniques ever since. In the early 2,000’s he started directing his attention towards landscaping steel elements – injecting artistic flair into nearly every piece created. Since then, our portfolio, skillsets, and reputation has increased with each new job. From simple steel planters (that aren’t so simple) to dynamically complex sculptural pieces, MC2 strives to deliver top quality original designs. Our shop….is small, but well equipped. Just right to take on larger residential jobs with up to 100 individual pieces, while keeping overhead and therefor costs to a minimum. Our workforce…is mostly Kelly. If you want to work directly with the design / builder, and have pieces with excessive attention to detail, you’ve found the right place. If you want mass-produced generic pieces with little thought to form or function, keep looking. If you’re a landscape architect or designer (we’ve worked with many), and need pieces that absolutely represent your design, and vision, you’ve found your steel guy. We can faithfully create your elements in a professional and timely fashion, and generally deliver them on time and on budget.
